trauma-informed yoga & facilitation training

Our first training in the US is scheduled for September 29th - October 1st 2023 in Northern Arizona!

A three day in-person immersive retreat infused weekend supported by structured self-study to create a strong foundational understanding of embodied trauma-informed facilitation through experiential learning, a depth of practices & group connection.

The training program aims to prepare yoga teachers and other space holders to take their practice off the mat in a trauma-informed way. The training materials will be supportive for those going into community-based settings as well as for anyone holding space for others. We believe we should all be trauma-informed, especially when there are inherent power dynamics at play.

We will be sharing 6-hours of structured self-study materials created with care and intention to prepare us to gather in-person for a nourishing weekend of experiential learning together.

Rest & Recharge

Yoga & Connection for those with caring hearts.

There is a lot going on in the world around us and it can be a lot to hold. To honor this, Molly and Justine have developed a four part series delving into how presence, connection, rest, and balance play a role in our overall well being.

This is an opportunity to connect with others to explore how we can care for ourselves while also caring for the world around us.

Together we will journey through embodied practices such as gentle and dynamic movement, yoga nidra (guided rest), restorative yoga and meditation, while making space for personal reflection and group connection.

This offering is being hosted live over zoom twice annually and is also available as a self-paced program anytime throughout the year.

Free Taster: we offer this recording for you to be able to experience a taste of our offerings. The recording will move through a 20 minute gentle movement practice easing into Yoga Nidra (guided rest).

SELF-PACED

This is a self-paced course, meaning every session will be recorded and shared with you so that you can view, or review, the material in your own time at your own pace. You will have access to all program materials for 90 days.

Investment

$125 usd (roughly 115 Euros)- a portion of the proceeds of your program investment are donated to The Yoga Mandala Project to support their efforts to bring healing-centered programming to refugees as well as those serving them around the world.

We believe these practices should be accessible to all. To honor this, we offer payment plans as well as needs-based / equity scholarships. Please email us for more information: bhakticanyon@gmail.com.

MY lived experiences have fueled a burning passion for supporting others on their healing journey.

Self-Compassion Program

A six week journey to create a foundation for radical self-acceptance using a blend of Yoga Philosophy, Scientific Theory, Group Dialogue, and Embodied Practices hosted by Molly and her humanitarian soul sister, Oonagh O’Sullivan.

Each week of the program highlights a theme around one of sage Patanjali’s Yamas (guidelines for ethical living) as a framework for self-compassion. We will explore self-care through a trauma-informed lens drawing upon self-regulation tools, research on stress and the nervous system, and trauma theory. Building on this knowledge, we will create a foundation for self-compassion through an understanding of how we respond to stress and how our lived experiences impact how we show up in the world today.

Molly and Oonagh adapt the program to each cohort but the embodied practices generally include yoga nidra, restorative rest, expressive art, mindful movement practices, kriyas and meditation.

What People Are Saying

"I met Molly in 2018 while volunteering for the greater good and I have learned so much about humanity and the impact that a single person can have on the world. She introduced me to the community of essential oils through doTERRA where I have found relief in so many aspects of my life.

We discuss natural living on a weekly basis which continues to keep me engaged and learning. Grateful our paths have crossed and looking forward to all the things we continue to create together through teaching others about oils, holistic living, yoga and so much more!"
